Dave grew up with a farming family, even prompting a call to his parents from the local sheriff when at the age of six he drove one of the family tractors. Later, in his twenties, he tossed some pumpkin seeds into the compost pile, which produced such beautiful pumpkins that everyone wanted them.
Amy is a nationally recognized green living and wellness expert, and she helps Dave build and market the farm. She is also the creator/director of Vermont Food & Farm Tours and Vermont Farm Immersion Programs.
